Liberal Closet began in 2015, during the lead up to the US 2016 presidential elections. It produced bumper stickers and other memorabilia which was sold online and at political rallies. Liberal Closet’s sister brand, Honorable Conservative, was also started during the run up to the 2016 election.
Jeff Essen came up with most of the slogans for the bumper stickers.
